Lana Morbini is an illustrator and artist with a degree in Fashion Design, whose career spans over a decade of creative work in Brazil and the UK. The idea for Mr. Capybara emerged during the 2020 lockdown, inspired by the serene capybaras she often observed by rivers in southern Brazil. Developing characters in her sketchbook became a creative outlet, and one chill capybara quickly stood out. Encouraged by friends and family, she began developing the character, blending her passions for fashion, travel, and the unique perspective of life as an artist in a new country. Today, Mr. Capybara represents an inclusive, lighthearted take on fashion illustration, showcasing a fresh perspective on content creation and storytelling.
